Nestled in the heart of Mexico’s central highlands, San Miguel de Allende is a picturesque city that perfectly blends old-world charm with modern luxury. My travels took me to this town as I had a conference just outside Cancun so I had an opportunity to spend 3 days there - it has been a city on my wish list for so long. The city is well connected as there are daily multiple flights from Dallas & Houston to either Queretaro (QRO) or Bajío/Leon (BJX) and then a 75 minute transfer from either one. I personally departed PHL at 6:30 am and flew United through Houston into Queretaro, arriving in San Miguel by 12:30p
